This series is dedicated to colour; both in ink and language. The quotes chosen for this series have a little more bite then my earlier work and do a nice job on their own without the need for any imagery. Each quote is scaled from my own handwriting and masked to reveal the background colours below.
On a side note, each painting is “stitched” into the canvas before and after it with the background colours. When viewed collectively it is one more subtle detail adding to the colour theme by creating an endless wheel.
