Drawing and Painting Samples (2012-2014)

This comic strip cartoon is based on a film project, and how I visualised what the final outcome was going to be like. It sort of turned out like this, but without the anatomy-breaking poses being pulled off in this piece.
This is a drawing of a giant robot was drawn after an exercise as I felt that concept has so much potential. It was surprising that I drew this because I have never drawn any giant robot/mecha art before of this standard. So I was quite pleased with the result.
This image was done off-the-cuff back in January 2013, based on a negative experience of packing for a popular toy company that have a local warehouse. I written a piece about the experience which uses the notion that I was 'orchestrated by red-tape'. So I guess it was natural to revisit this striking imagery of myself, as a puppet, with red tape as my strings. I loved how it came out.
This still life drawing of a wire model was done back in 2013. The medium used here was pencil.
This figurative painting was inspired by the Winter Olympics, and it chronicles the journey of those snowboarders that were in action during those games.
This illustrated advert was done a for local ukulele group back in 2012. Whilst the group has disbanded, at least the character designs out of ukuleles bring some timless charm to this poster.
