Improvised Mural: Stevenson Elementary School

Original idea and rough mock-ups for the mural. They wanted 2 separate murals painted on cinderblock, both to be completed in one day.
Arrived at the school to find that the walls they wanted painted were actually shiny tile. They found me a different wall to paint instead and I had to redesign a mural on the spot.
It was a community volunteer day at the school so there were staff from local businesses available to help if I wanted. As it was the only way to complete the mural in time, I eagerly accepted. I asked volunteers to paint second-coats and fill in shapes I had painted. I couldn't have finished in a day without their help!
Finished mural.
