CURAPROX - Bosnian Limited Edition
OBJECTIVE:
The task is to craft a limited edition toothbrush for Curaprox that resonates with the values, traditions, and rich culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The design should not just be aesthetically pleasing but should offer a unique and meaningful experience to all BiH Curaprox users.

GUIDELINES:
1. Research: Delve into the essence of BiH, exploring its values, traditions, and culture. Understand what makes the country unique and how your design can reflect these elements.

2. Sketches: Let your imagination flow on paper. Create initial sketches that capture the spirit of BiH while keeping in mind the core features of the toothbrush packaging.

3. Design: Bring your sketches to life, ensuring that the main design seamlessly integrates with the cardboard packaging. The Curaprox logo and the SWISS flag must remain in their designated positions, but you have the creative freedom to explore various color schemes for the handles and play with the bristles to enhance the overall concept.

4. Mockup Application: Utilize the provided PSD mockup to visualize your design on two Curaprox toothbrushes. Your focus should be on the cardboard packaging, making sure it complements the product and stands out for BiH users
Idea Research

Bosnian traditional embroidery (‘Bosanski vez’) is a rich and intricate form of needlework that has been a significant part of the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It reflects the region's history, diversity, and the influences of various cultures that have shaped its artistic expression. Bosnian embroidery is often associated with traditional costumes, home decor, and religious items. All these pieces were decorated by woman, and they were never used in daily life, but rather kept for special occasions. Women would also embroider different items as gifts for their future husbands. The goal was to make them as beautiful as possible, and their motifs were usually stylized.

Key features of Bosnian traditional embroidery include:
Naturalistic and Geometric Forms - Bosnian embroidery is known for its naturalistic and free forming patterns. But geometric forms were also popular, especially when it comes to ‘Zmijanjski vez’ or Zmijanje embroidery which is a traditional embroidery style specific to the Zmijanje region in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zmijanje is a village located near the town of Sanski Most in the northwestern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Zmijanjski vez embroidery is characterized by its unique and intricate geometric patterns and vibrant blue colors. The designs often feature intricate combinations of rhombus, triangles, squares, circles, and other geometric shapes.
But most populat type of embroidery were inspired by nature, such as flowers and trees. These patterns are meticulously stitched to create symmetrical and visually appealing designs.

Color Palette - the color palette used in Bosnian embroidery is diverse and vibrant. Rich hues of red, yellow, blue, pink, green, and gold are commonly used, reflecting the region's cultural and artistic preferences.

Materials - traditional Bosnian embroidery typically employs natural materials such as linen and cotton for the fabric, and silk or wool threads for the embroidery. These materials are chosen for their durability and ability to hold intricate stitches.

Symbolism - many Bosnian embroidery patterns carry symbolic meanings. For example, certain motifs may represent protection, fertility, or prosperity. These symbols are often passed down through generations and play a significant role in the storytelling aspect of the embroidery.
