Rotonda is a high home cuisine restaurant featuring cozy surroundings, a real fireplace, a menu with hefty portions and establishment owners working as waiters. An important trait of the Rotonda restaurant is the high product quality. The chef is quite obsessed with it. This was the reason the main emphasis of design was food photography. The pictures were taken in the style characteristic of Anna Williams – dark backgrounds, detailed textures, noire mood.
My idea was recreating for the visitors the feeling they are four again, and they have sneaked into grandma's kitchen full of tasty smells, unusual accessories and magic. With the only exception of this kitchen being furnished by Ralph Lauren.
