I was asked by a local band to do the art for a Motorhead tribute single they had coming out. Their only request was to have elements from Motorhead's Snaggletooth mascot (originally created by Joe Petagno) added to their existing logo (face mask and hat guy). My idea was to have this thing looking like the DIY Punk Rock 7"s I collected as a teenager, and still do - a sloppy print job on beat-to-crap paper. So I did just that - I redrew the characters, scanned a blank 7" cover with some glue residue on the sides, added some (mostly custom) type and put the whole thing through a washing machine cycle (not literally).
