Pixel Affection symbolizes the emergence of codependent relationships between humans and technology, with people forming unhealthy attachments to the digital world resulting in avoidance and negligence of their physical environment. The somber ambience created by the blue light draws attention to the main subject - a girl who embodies the detachment from the physical environment and the absorption into the digital landscape. Positioned at the center of the composition, her outstretched hand reaches towards the captivating glow of the virtual realm, while her immediate surroundings become dull, fading into the background. Layered movement in the piece also vividly illustrates the emotional stages faced during her digital experience, showing a strained relationship. I hope this work serves as a reflection of the need to strike a balance between the pixels displayed from our screens and our responsibilities and joys in reality.
