Post Falls High School coach Jeff  Hinz was recently diagnosed with a non-smokers lung cancer. As an alumni of PFHS, I volunteered design work to help.

 

I incorporated several conceptual elements to reinforce the message. The white ribbon symbolizes lung cancer. The color bars resemble wrist bands created by supporters of Hinz. The varsity typeface ties into high school football, while “cancer” is a display font resembling the caring nature of the community. The school colors are orange, black and white.
