Indestructible
Thesis Project & Collaboration
As a part of the second thesis project, a collaboration was formed in order to promote designer's awareness on the matter of paper up cycling. The result was an Indestructible book challenges the reader understanding towards paper.

The Thunder, Perfect Mind is an old poem discovered in the Nag Hammadi Library. Interacting and reflecting the journey in human's life, the poem is rich in its literature value and significance.  The book Indestructible was born out of the last line of the passage and the end of the cycle of the project. The book is meant to be destructed by the end of the reading experience.

This asks the reader to look back into the book and figure out how they could have preserved the book instead of destroying it, while also reflecting on the culture that they have towards paper.

The exhibition of the publication is accompanied by the Miura-Ori folding which serves as symbol of the flexibility of how paper can be manipulated and the interesting typography that can be produced from it.
