The traditional clothing of most Vietnamese people -"ÁO DÀI" throughout history and culture stands out as one of the great art icons of Vietnam, along with Hat Boi ( vietnamese opera), Cheo, or the national flower (lotus).
"Áo Dài" typically consists of a long tunic over silk or cotton pants. It is slit up the sides to the waist to create a softer line and allow for ease of movement. Áo dài appears on almost every important occasion in Vietnamese culture, which is also the main inspiration for the Golden Age Project.
The Golden Age Project is a collection of artworks that I hope will promote Vietnam's national costume in my fictional world. The imaginary world begins, with Keepers in charge of safeguarding and conserving the áo dài throughout the process of forming and creating the world. For Keepers, the áo dài is a priceless treasure that cannot be stolen.Vietnamese Áo Dài is mixed with a multi-dimensional and one-of-a-kind creative vision.
The project aims to metaphorize the idea of Áo Dài's golden period, in which we as descendants are always ready to conserve and develop a cultural icon.
