One of the disadvantages of shared workspaces and working on shared desks is the lack of private space, both in terms of work and personal privacy. Therefore, using a separator is a suitable and practical solution. Still, considering the dynamics and changes that occur in such environments with the type of arrangement and even the kind of cooperation, it is not possible to use fixed and limited separators.
Peina Separator (Divider) is designed to be used in such places while creating privacy for people; it also has multiple functions and can be moved to different locations according to the type of need and situation.
Peina in the local language means “divider”. Its legs can have lockable wheels that can be easily moved on the surfaces and lock the wheels in the right place. The lower part has drawers for each person's equipment, and it is also possible to place items such as stationery and paper.
The upper part is a sheet of MDF (or chipboard and other industrial wood) with a cover of sponge and fabric, and it can be used as a wall to install or stick paper, etc. Also, the type of connection of the wall to the lower part is a rotary axis with a retaining lock, which after opening the lock manually, the wall can rotate entirely and turn back and forth.
The sponge and fabric cover on the upper part of the Peina help to make the space more acoustic and absorb inappropriate noises.
It is possible to put several Peinas together and use them modularly (for example, to create a partition and short wall).
According to the type of working environment and its use, the material used for the production of the body is steel sheets (usually 2 mm), which can be produced both in a limited workshop edition and in mass production by the method of laser cutting, bending or welding. The body of the inner drawers can also be made by cutting industrial wood such as chipboard on which the metal top of the drawer is placed.
The way of connecting the wall and rotating it on the body is done with a bearings grip to enable full rotation, and also, the retaining lock is manual to keep the wall in place. This feature allows sharing of each person's separator with others, and there is no need to change the site or rotation of the entire Peina.

In addition, the wall placed in the upper part of the Peina can be replaced from within its frame so that it can be repaired and washed, and if needed, it can be replaced with other walls such as whiteboard or glass.
