This was a project where we had to create Japanese Notans from 4 different Ideas, my ideas were shogun, toxic, fish, and knight

These were my 2 notans called "Shogun" I wanted to honor the design being from Japanese descent and make my first 2 designs Japanese themselves by creating samurais and using the sun from their flag as focal points.

The second idea I used is toxic, one showing things such as acid rain, the cooling towers for nuclear waste and a gas mask, the second design shows a mushroom cloud from a nuke, a radio tower which produces radioactive waves and dripping toxic waste

This idea was simply called fish, the first design went back to the appreciation for Japanese design by using koi fish, the second design is more so focusing on descending the ocean starting with a dolphin and ending with an angler fish

The last idea I had created was based of knights I used more medieval references for these photos such as knight helmets, a shield with a crest, swords, and a crown.

The final part of the project was to use construction paper and cut out a design to create the final image
