Background
Herbarium is a botanical laboratory, specializing in traditional herbal medicines in Brazil, with the aim of caring for people and the environment.
In the highly competitive pharmacy market, where numerous medicines are crammed into the most diverse positions on the shelves, we carried out research to understand the factors that most attracted the attention of Arnica Gel's majority audience, the elderly. The most important factor was trust and respect for packaging, the more information in a way that does not overwhelm the better packaging.
The old packaging of the Arnica Gel Herbarium conveys information only in text format, having a dull aesthetic, not being striking. The objective of redesigning the packaging was to create an attractive aesthetic and convey information not only through text, but through colors and illustrations, guiding the eye through the orientation applied to these resources.
Herbarium é um laboratório botânico, especializado em medicamentos tradicionais fitoterápicos no Brasil, tendo o objetivo de cuidar das pessoas e do meio ambiente.
No mercado altamente competitivo das farmácias, onde inúmeros medicamentos são amontoados das mais diversas formas nas prateleiras, realizamos um pesquisa para entender os fatores que mais chamavam a atenção do público majoritário do Gel de Arnica, idosos. O fator mais importante foi a confiança e o respeito passados pela embalagem, quanto mais informação de uma forma que não sobrecarregue a embalagem melhor.
A embalagem antiga do Gel de Arnica Herbarium passava informação apenas na forma de texto, possuindo uma estética apagada, não sendo marcante. O objetivo do redesign da embalagem foi criar uma estética memorável e passar a informação não apenas por texto, mas por cores e ilustrações, guiando o olhar pela hierarquia aplicada a esses recursos, criando o sentimento de confiança no consumidor.

Esse foi o resultado visual de um projeto da faculdade visando a pesquisa científica e sua aplicação no redesign da embalagem de uma pomada anti-inflamatória.
