Animal cruelty constitutes a grave and worrisome problem, encompassing deliberate harm, neglect, or ill-treatment of animals. It manifests in various ways, such as physical abuse, neglect, desertion, and acts of cruelty. Beyond its ethical reprehensibility, animal abuse is also legally prohibited in numerous jurisdictions.

Fostering awareness about this issue becomes imperative to instigate empathy, encourage responsible pet ownership, and advocate for legal safeguards for animals. In our examination, we discovered that the penalties or fines for animal abuse are trivial, posing a significant drawback. Consequently, we have taken the initiative to submit a petition, urging the government to implement stringent measures and penalties against animal abuse. To amplify our cause, we have launched a comprehensive campaign #MakeThemPay on social media and outdoor platforms, outlined as follows:
Remember that raising awareness is a key step, but sustained efforts are necessary to create meaningful change. Combining advocacy, education, and community involvement can contribute to a more compassionate society for animals.
