Process
Pictures of nature: I made around 150 pictures of nature, 70 of which I used for the next step. While taking pictures, I focussed on textures and shapes.
Experimenting with materials: I collected objects from outside and tried transferring the textures on paper with paint and pencil.
Experimenting digitally: At this stage I combined the pictures made outside with the previous experiments. I used layers and effects to find interesting result.
Typography:
The assignment was to make different poster designs with the same amount of text and only using the colors: black, white and red.

Typography and final poster sketches: I chose 8 of the experiments I liked best and searched for fonts, words and uses that could fit the poster. Then I decided which of the 8 I liked best and made tiny sketches to experiment with the possible layout.

For each poster I wrote down what it could be used for. From left to right:
- party or big colorful event with happiness and entertainment being the focus.
- art or creativity exhibition
- concert for powerful music or an action movie poster
- valentine event
- ice event, ice skating or another winter themed event like Christmas
- mystery book cover or a escape room poster
- poster about spreading positivity
- science poster
