Nike Campaign

The Objective
This was taken from a prior english course, with the goal being to repurpose an essay into a new medium for a new audience. We had to create a multimodal campaign based on our research paper. I chose Nike and aimed to create an authentic, informative Instagram campaign on the sensitive topic of slave labor, particularly overseas. 
The Approach 
For this campaign, I wanted to take a different route for Nike, one that informs but through a personal, company lens. I wanted to create ads that showed the raw footage behind the scenes and showed the world that Nike is done with “money over morals.” These works give an inside look at the overseas labor process. Slave labor is a sensitive subject, and I want to create something that addresses it carefully and shows that Nike is taking responsibility and moving away from their old ways. The purpose is to get people talking about the practice of sweatshops and bring it to light on a global scale.
