Montignac-Lascaux
I've been invited by the city of Montignac-Lascaux for painting this giant wallpaper.
Montignac-Lascaux is a really famous city for being the masterpieces’s home of parietal art.
Known by archaeologists as the « Sistine Chapel of Prehistory “ Lascaux is world renowned for its Palaeolithic cave paintings, estimated at around 20000-year-old.
As I have done for my recent wall in Padova in Italy, I’ve explored the idea of painting a giant vintage wallpaper.
I’ve really enjoyed working on these designs at the moment.
You will probably recognise the William Morris inspiration
