This sculptural ring was constructed from soldering planes of copper together with a torch to get a hollow form. The ring was soaked in acid and then baking soda, then polished to be shiny clean. The ring was dipped in liver of sulfur for the dark coloration on the surface. The rocks and plants were attached to contrast the dark, sturdy ring form.
