A rainy evening in New York City around Times Square (Midtown Manhattan) - highlighting the elegant and relaxing bossa nova track Voyages - part of the latin flavored vocal jazz album named JAZZCAPADES - initially composed by Gregor Theelen (2014) - featuring exciting vocal performances by Lieve Geuens in her own phonetic language.
Added instrumentation, arrangement and production by Peter Heckmann for Rose Records & Publishing (2021).
Mix / master by Peter Heckmann - all tracks licensed through Anthology Records.
The album mix is intentionally crafted with a distinct "live recording" vibe and not overly polished - a sonic homage to the contemporary Jazz Fusion style of the late 1970's & 1980's (Weather Report, Stanley Clarke, Pat Metheny, Branford Marsalis etc.)
