Team Phobos- Laughlin Building (Sunlight/Temperature)

Team Phobos:
Laughlin Building Study
With this study members of Team Phobos, Jackson, Sean-Anthony, and Al studied the amount of light and temperature within a chosen building on Berry's College Campus. We chose to study the sunlight and temperature of the Laughlin Building.
During the process, we first split up the work between the three team members to complete the project using a Trello board to make it simple and easy to understand. We then used the coding language PHP to create various pages to document our team members, questions and answers about our study, data, and charts about the study.
While specific team members worked on the code, others worked on the physical fabrication, wiring, and 3-D modeling of the motherboard and encasing of the sensors. During the physical fabrication process, many pieces needed to be soldered onto to motherboard such as the temperature sensor, light sensor, on/off switch, and female pins to connect to a breadboard. We did this to four motherboards and troubleshooted each board to make sure it was working correctly and giving good reading before being deployed to our specific building
After being deployed to our building to get specific data, we changed the batteries and checked the sensors daily to make sure they continued to work and displayed data for our sensors. After a certain amount of time and getting 700 readings per sensor, we took them up and created charts to display our data visually to compare for questions.
