I was born in Palermo, Sicily in 1986. Since I was a young boy, I always loved child play making movies. Very soon I become a teen aged guy horror movie addicted. I watched all the genre classics as movies by Alfred Hitchcock to Wes Craven. Beside it I also watched all the cinema classic movies, so I realized maybe I could become a director and scriptwriter. So I got my first job in a call center and in few years I've been able to pay my studies at "Accademia Nazionale del cinema" in Bologna. I earned two graduations, the first as Director and scriptwriter, the second one as cinematographer and movie editor.
I took my first steps into scriptwriting and directing once I earned the chance by the Accademia Nazionale del cinema for creating their new institutional website advert. I caught the challenge.
Soon I started work with my colleague and very long time friend Mauro Grosso, it was the time for us to roll up our sleeves and try an upgrade. So this is how Signum it's born. Signum it's a logo for a common signature that distinguishes our common creations. We worked together in three short horror movies multiple award winner all around the world and we are still working in common projects. Beside, our friendship its strong as always.
I earned lot of experience on different sets working in both Photography and direction departments. I'm always ready for new works and challenges, because i really love my work and sometimes I like to think i'm still that young boy in Sicily who is child play making movies.

This is Signum latest project, it's a trailer for a brand new horror movie named "Don't wake them up!". Hope to find producers interested in it. We are working on it! Stay tuned!
GRAVE:
It's an original short horror movie/ghost story written and directed by Salvatore La Padura and Mauro Grosso, under the common name of "SIGNUM". The realization it has been possible thanks to Emilia Romagna Film commission and "Gruppo studi Cesare Mattei" located in Palazzo Comelli in January 2022.
IT COMES FOR YOU:
It's my second work as Director and scriptwriter. It's inspired by the popular board game "SCRABBLE", in this case used as a kind of Ouija board. It has won different Movie festival awards as the Jury Award as Best Horror Short Film at Europe film festival UK, Best Horror Short film at Istambul Film Festival 2022.

SLEEP WELL:
Is a co-direction with my friend and partner Mauro Grosso, here at his first time as director. The script is signed by the both of us and the short movie also starring the popular Italian singer Chiara Iezzi, here as Lorenzo's Mother. This chilling short inspired by a famous creepypasta tale, won several movie festivals awards all around the world as the Hollywood gold award 2021 - Silver award for the best actress, Best Horror at Hollywood Blood Horror Festival 2021, Los Angeles International Film Festival - Honorable mansion for best horror short 2021, Los Angeles Italia Film, Fashion and Art Festival 2021. The movie it has screened at Chinese Theater in Los Angeles and it has also been shared for a week on My Movies Website.

This so-real short drama, it has been written by multiple hands, I'm very proud to be one of them. I've also had the privilege to be the first AD on set with my colleague and friend, the director Ginevra Barboni.
ANCESCAO advert:
I had a nice one that time i directed this lovely actors in the national ANCESCAO advert.
TEMPTU adverts:
TEMPTU is a brand manifacturing make up and accessories such makeup airbrushes and compressors. I written, directed and edited for them some "theme" adverts for their brand new compact airbrush.
This video it has been edited by me for my TEMPTU clients, a backstage of all the adverts I have been working on, indeed also the "retrò" TEMPTU advert can be spotted.

Some backstage videos and pictures from the set of the Accademia Nazionale del cinema directed by me. Some scenes of it have been edited in my showreel.
Il muro tra di noi:
This is my one and only experience as cinematographer on the set of Federico del Buono'S short movie drama "Il muro tra di noi", starring Ivano Marescotti and Stefano Pesce. Is the story of a complicated relationship between a son and his father. It has been a challenging and interesting experience.
