HECATE TEMPLE
Location of Hecate Temple in Sanctuary and Its Plan (Büyüközer, Lagina Hekate Tapınağının Matematiksel Oranları, 2006)
The 29x22m temple belonging to the Hellenistic period,which have been built between the 2nd-1st century BC[1] in the Muğla,Yatağan district[2], is located on the 5-step crepidoma in the middle of the sanctuary[3].The entrance of the temple, which consists of Pseudodipteros plan,is from the southwest. It contains Pronaos and Naos,the difference from Hellenistic structures is that it doesn't contain Opisthodomus[4]. ​​​​​​​

Altar is located in the southeast of the temple, while bothros, which is used to show an presentation to the Hecate,is located in the northeast. The stoa is the place where the ceremonies can be watched. It contains 11 pediments[1]. Of the 8x11 columns, the In-Antis columns in Pronaous are Ephesus-Ion,, Peristasis columns are Attic Ion(Corinth)Pedestal[2].

The orthostat is surrounded by the toichobate surrounding the naos. Four different subjects (war,peace,gods,life of Zeus) are handled on the friezes dating back to 130BC on the walls, columns and architraves[1]. There are inscriptions about the sanctuary on the anta blocks. The block profiles consist of used in Late Classical Architecture. ​​​​​​​
