Leaning Tower of Pisa

Reference picture of The Leaning Tower of Pisa( Torre pendente di pisa)
Here is a little background on the Leaning Tower of Pisa.It stands 183.3 ft tall and consists of 8 floors and consists of 207 columns.Groundbreaking began on August 14 1173 AD, and was completed in 1372 AD, taken 199 years to complete.
The architect and the names originator is Bonanno Pisano, hence the name Pisa. It's a Roman catholic afiliated and is made up of marble and white cut stone. A Freestanding bell tower of the cathedral of the Italian city, "Pisa". Can be known for its unintended tilt to one side and is the 3rd oldest structure in Pisa's cathedral square
(Piazza del Duomo), after the cathedral & Baptistry. The tilt actually increased in decades before the structure was completed, due to inadequate foundation on the ground and was to soft on one side and therefor could not  properly support the structures weight. This gradually increased until the structure was stabalized and the tilt partially corrected by efforts in the late 20th and 21st centuries. So if you travel to Italy go visit this amazing peice of artwork.
