About Brand - India's extensive railway network, spanning nearly 170 years, not only serves as an affordable and accessible mode of transportation for many Indians and tourists but also demonstrates the country's remarkable connectivity across its vast and densely populated regions.
Proposition - The Indian Railways is rebranding. The task is to give the brand a better positioning with a tagline which brings out the essence of the brand to the forefront.
Language - Hindi and English
Year - 2023
To create mental imagery and nostalgia, I decided to associate the Indian railways' journey with memories and moments that Indians have when they travel. The copy was inspired by Indian singer Lucky Ali's song 'Safarnama'. This tagline opens to the interpretation of stories for individuals and yet has a unified connection with the railways.
Indian Railways' job is to make the lives of Indians easy by connecting them with places. The idea was simple and made sense in all aspects and perceptions. My inspiration here was to subtly highlight the emotional connection of people to places and here the connector is Indian Railways.
