Discover Alanya, Turkey
Chapter 1: Alanya City, Morning

Alanya is a beautiful city on the coast of Turkey. It is located 138 km East of Antalya, the administrative center of the province of the same name.

I, having lived in this city for almost a year, want to share its beauty with you, and I hope you will go there by yourself to find confirmation of my words!
Alanya is warm all year round. It can be too hot in summer, but you can always cool off in the warm sea. Additionally, I recommend eating ice cream.
In autumn it becomes much cooler and fresher, and the summer heat recedes. The sea is warmest at this time of year.
In winter it gets even cooler, so you have to wear jeans and a sweater. The average temperature for December is 10 degrees Celsius.
In spring it gets warmer again, many flowers bloom, the sea warms up well by the month of April.

In Alanya, the sun rises as a huge fiery disk emerging from behind the mountains.
In the city sunrises are late. The sun first illuminates the sea, and only then comes out from behind the mountains to illuminate the city.
Chapter 2: Alanya Beaches

Alanya has many wonderful beaches. Almost each of them has a sandy entrance to the sea, and each is equally good. However, it is worth highlighting Cleopatra Beach, where the sand is golden in color, and which is located to the West coast of the peninsula.
In the very center of Alanya there is a harbor where you can book an excursion or a boat trip. There you can also visit the white lighthouse that greets arriving ships.
Chapter 3: Alanya Peninsula

Being on any beach in the city, we can see a peninsula on top of which stands Alanya Castle, originally built by the Byzantines.
Later in the 13th century, the fortress was rebuilt by the Seljuks, who left a legacy of modern fortifications, including a 6.5 km long wall, 14 towers along the perimeter, and of course the famous Red Tower.
Having climbed a long but very exciting path to the top of the peninsula, located 270 meters above sea level, a majestic view of the entire coast appears before us.
At the very edge of the peninsula there is a small ridge jutting straight into the open sea. At its end there is an ancient temple that cannot be approached on foot.
Chapter 4: Alanya City, Evening

Sunset is definitely the best time to immerse yourself in the special vibe present there.
Sitting on the wall where sentinels once marched long ago, peering into the horizon, watching the waves crash against the rocks, and seeing the ancient temple on the very edge, I feel an extraordinary vibe.
After the sun has set in Alanya, it still shines on the top of the fortress, towering over the city.
At night in Alanya, thousands of lights light up, reflected in the water. Coolness descends on the streets. People fill the streets; sitting in a cafe, having fun. There are many cats walking along the streets, which are very clean and tidy. If you invite it, the cat will jump on your lap and you can pet it.
In conclusion, I will try to convey to you that special atmosphere, although I know that this is impossible... Better go and visit Alanya yourself!
