Bit Crush Poster Competition
Bit Crush is a charity event, supporting Demelza, a local charity in Kent. My class (along with animation students) were assigned to design a poster advertising the event. The final result is down below
However, I thought the perspective wasn't that exciting, and I wanted to use this assignment to challenge myself, so I spent a while on photoshop sketching out a new design.
I began to refine the design, adding additional game and animation characters (since that was part of the brief). I wanted to add some extra characters, so I included characters that would also be associated with graffiti art.
I changed the saturation of the bricks to make the 'Bit Crush' pop out more, and I also included Miles Morales and an Inkling from Splatoon, since they both are related to art and graffiti.
