Pole pole is a photography fanzine about the typography seen in Tanzania in 2022.

During a trip to Tanzania, I drove through the country and photographed billboards, store fronts and signage from the window of the car. Typography tells a story, and using it is a new way of getting to know a place, an atmosphere and a country.
In Swahili, "pole pole" means "slowly", an expression I've often heard.
