Personal and Commissioned Digital Illustration
The following is a portion of digital artwork I have completed before enrolling in my degree programme (without any formal art education) and were painted for self-exploration/ self-improvement purposes. I was mostly focusing on the painting strokes and styles as well as trying to incorporate basic colour theory, emotions and contrast to craft an illustration that can capture people's attention. It was a challenging period as I had to rely on myself to source for tutorials, keep up my self-motivation and take the initiative to seek feedbacks from the friendly art community on Discord and Facebook groups. Nevertheless, over the few years it was a very fulfilling experience that have pushed me way past my comfort zone and as my skills reach a certain level, I managed to land myself commissions request in the Dungeons and Dragons community.
