Cannock Chase
Memories
Cannock Chase is a forest on the outskirts of the town in which I grew up. We spent many days there, walking along the paths and having picnics in the summer. My favourite place to go was the stepping stones; walking across them as a child, the stones felt a million miles apart. Further up the stream where the banks are closer together we used to build dams, trying fruitlessly to stop the water flowing.

When looking at the photographs I am taken back to this time in my childhood. By creating pieces of jewellery from these photographs, I aim to make pieces that allow the memories to be carried around with me.
