BRIEF:
The ages of the world of water, from pristine, to hurting and healing. The Blue World depicted over many moons and reflections. The blue is sacred to many, hurt by all and treasured by few. The floating, the buoyant and the sparkling featured in their glory to spread love for the underwater and urge protection of her. How digital and traditional art shape the waves of change in the Metaverse. How can this water instil an urgency for change, for protection, for hope?

CONCEPT:
South Africa is rich in religious and cultural diversity. This can be both a blessing and a challenge to South Africans; but one thing all cultures have in common is their respective spiritual connection to water and their dependence on it for survival. Rivers connect to the ocean as they connect communities to one another. River flows link people, places, and other forms of life, inspiring and sustaining diverse cultural beliefs, values, and ways of life. Among the many resources rivers provide is clay. Clay pots embody ancient tradition and tell the stories of communities that touched rivers. They are both vessels of heritage and of practicality. The sharing of fresh river water, historically captured by clay vases, is an act of love.
