Svenska Gastrodagarna, um congresso organizado pela Associação Sueca de Gastroenterologia, elenca anualmente uma cidade sueca para sediar o evento onde os profissionais e estudantes de gastroenterologia e hepatologia encontram-se para debater os mais diversos assuntos da área na atualidade.
Aproveitando a rica cultura e mitologia nórdica presente nas mais variadas localizações do país, para cada edição o evento incorpora à sua identidade o símbolo mais proeminente da cidade ou região que o sediará na ocasião.
Para a edição de 2019, realizada na cidade de Jönköping, a escultura Jätten Vist do artista Calle Örnemark foi eleita para ser homenageada na identidade visual do evento.
De acordo com a lenda, voltando de uma festa, o gigante jogou um pouco de grama e terra no lago Vättern para que sua esposa pudesse pisar e, assim, acabou criando a ilha de Visingsö.

Svenska Gastrodagarna, an annual congress organized by the Swedish Gastroenterology Association, lists a Swedish city for each edition where gastroenterology and hepatology professionals and students meet to discuss the most diverse issues in the area today.
Taking advantage of the rich Nordic culture and mythology present in the most varied locations in the country, with each edition the event incorporates into its identity the most prominent symbol of the city or region that will host it on the occasion.
For the 2019 edition, held in the city of Jönköping, the Jätten Vist sculpture by artist Calle Örnemark was chosen to be honored in the event's visual identity.
According to legend, returning from a party, the giant threw some grass and earth into Lake Vättern so that his wife could step on it and thus ended up creating the island of Visingsö.

The Giant Vist was the creator of the island Visingsö in Läke Vättern according to ancient legend, is the inspiration for the main symbol of Svesnka Gastrodagarna 2019 in Jönköping.
The symbol was imagined respecting the simple and straight shapes of the wooden pieces used to create the giant's sculpture in order to, when incorporated into the final logo, provide a clean and clear design. The colors of the sculpture also serve as a base variant for creating the colors of the visual grid.
