Sticker Project

Objective:
For each and every project this year you will be expected to "Create a Project" in Behance under your Adobe CC profile. You must describe the project (just copy and paste the project "Objective" form the assignment) and upload ALL initial brainstorming sketches, second round sketches/layouts, different working versions of your project, and the FINAL/completed project. You are expected to list any software (desktop or mobile) that you used to create the project and if you created it on the iPad, a time-lapse video.

Goals:
Demonstrate your process
Share your work with other students and designers
Create a working Portfolio of all of your projects in Graphic Design II
Follow and Critique fellow classmates

When I started coming up with ideas for this project my original thought was to make shoes. Specifically every Jordan made in the order they were made. Then I thought it would be fun to make stickers of my favorite artist(Noah Kahan). My third idea was to make stickers of Dallas Baptist university, the college that I am going to.
As I started to sketch these ideas I realized that it is really hard to draw shoes with so much detail. I also thought if I was gonna do something of Noah Kahan it should be for another project because there weren't many things I could draw that went with his style. I also thought it would be much cooler to make stickers of the college I am going to. As you can see in the pictures below its really hard for me to draw shoes on a Ipad.
As I started to draw more Dallas Baptist stickers I started coming up with different ideas. I thought it would be really cool to change the font of the DBU logo to my own font. I also thought it would be cool to draw a cross with one of my favorite verses in it. As I began to work on it more and more I realized that the layout of the whole thing was really bad. So I fixed it and was actually able to add a few more stickers. Here is what the final product looked like on illustrator and in person:
If I could go back and do one thing differently I would spend more time simplifying my ideas and working on one idea the whole time. Instead of having to keep drawing three or four different ideas.
I loved this project and just working through the thought process of figuring out what I wanted to draw. I am super happy how the stickers turned out and I can't wait to use them!
