A fall-related harvest event was what I knew I wanted to do when researching for this assignment. Although I did have a vague idea when putting together a mood board, I did not exactly see a specific end result. What really helped was the sketching process. It allowed me to get all of my ideas out, which ended up being ideas I did not even know I had. In fact, the idea I chose for my final poster was the very last thumbnail sketch I drew. While it does not closely resemble my initial idea of the sketch, it does hold some of the same key elements. Since it would take more time than I had to draw everything, I photoshopped a photo of a pumpkin patch to give it a painted look. After doing that, everything else sort of just fell into place. I played around with the script I chose for "harvest" by adjusting the placement and shape of the individual letters and also ended up attaching a vine onto it to give me more freedom when creating the social media posts.

After that, it was very easy to create the social media posts by taking the key elements and colors and just playing around with them. For the first one I used the main element of the sun, as well as adding the pumpkin colors into the sky gradient. In the second, I made the sun less important and repeated the pumpkin patch. So I could use the vine as a bigger element in the third, I switched the  fonts and made the "f" on "fest" growing out of the vine. Overall, I am extremely happy with how everything came out!
