WFC Extraordinary Moves

A Celebration of Dance Through Movement, Film, & Art
A medley of film, art and live performances held as part of the River to River Festival, the World Financial Center’s Extraordinary Moves debuted July 9, 2011 for a nine-day run. My task was to assist Think Studio’s John Clifford in versioning, as well as creating sketches and mechanicals for the event. Banners and collateral were produced in the creative direction of Think Studio and displayed in downtown Manhattan to promote the event.

I assisted in the production of sketches and mechanicals for East Wall banners, measuring 462 by 106 inches. These contiguous banners were on display ahead and above visitors looking east into the Winter Garden during performances.
Michael Moschen performed an act of juggling feats in “The Triangle.”
Streb appeared in “The Human Fountain,” emulating cascading water in a performance inspired by the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
I worked with Think Studio to create sketches and mechanicals for this hanging banner, measuring 168 by 18 inches, hanging above the Shops and Restaurants entrance at World Financial Center.
This hanging banner was on display at the Liberty Street Pedestrian Bridge in downtown Manhattan. Measuring 192 by 36 inches, I helped create sketches and mechanicals.
