This was the previous sketch of the logos progress.  I finally had to give up the typographic idea of using the punctuation/ "rain" as it was too fine of detail.   Altogether it was a weak logo.  It's difficult to be brave and scrap something that is not working and go for a new approach. Now onto application of the new identity to banner ads, truck graphics, and stationery.
