The goal for this project is to use the creative process - through sketches and variation - to create an extremely creative sticker sheet on the iPad using Adobe Fresco and Illustrator. The design should be as original as possible.
Your goal for craftsmanship is to produce as clean and finished illustrations as possible. That means we want to avoid jagged paths, stray points, hairline gaps, and other craft problems. Illustrator tools - like the pen, brush, objects, and Adobe Illustrator Draw CC on your mobile device or iPad - are all used effectively to ensure a great-looking drawing.
Composition goal for this project is to place your creature on the page in an interesting way. In the case of landscape drawings, we want landscapes with a great deal of deep space. Focal points (like the monster) should not be dead center and looking directly at the viewer. Subtlety in placing the creature is expected - even in the case of a plain background.
Make sure that EVERYTHING about your illustration helps communicate the personality of a creature. If you decide to include a landscape, it should be created to communicate personality. That includes WHAT is drawn, HOW it is drawn, and the COLORS used.
