FoMO is the Fear of Missing Out. Introduced by the age of social media, FoMO is social phenomena that become a integral part of society with us noticing.
In this rebus design, I explored ways in which I could express the fear of missing out. I played with the use of negative and positive space to bring forward essential ideas.
Specifically, How to communicate the idea of a person missing out?
To communicate this idea of missing out on something, I decided to display of group a people with one person seemingly missing. The play of negative and positive space to represent a group and a person missing from the group unifies the concept created from the Fear of Missing Out.
