This study focuses on the analysis of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger using COMSOL Multiphysics. The simulation incorporates the Turbulent Flow physics module along with the Heat Transfer in Solids and Fluids physics modules. The model examines the fluid flow patterns, temperature distribution, and heat transfer efficiency within the heat exchanger. The results provide valuable insights into optimizing the design and performance of shell-and-tube heat exchangers for various industrial applications, such as HVAC systems, power plants, and chemical processes.
