The residence was designed in a way that gave it a unique visual identity, attracting attention in the typical neighborhood.

The facade is defined by strong, cantilevered floating frames that highlight the various facets of the exterior, bringing them to the forefront. It's a playful residential dwelling that breaks down the scale while offering a variation of massing cubes, introducing a new concept for the facade.

The clients are the Rathore family, and they approached us with a very simple and basic brief. Although it was unique because they wanted to create a contemporary house, they also wanted it to have an Indian essence.

We had a west-facing plot, and it was a perfect square in size. Placing the house at the center of the plot, we designed a sun courtyard to bring in ample natural light and ventilation to the house. Surrounding the courtyard, we planned the vertical circulation of the house, and within this central area, we placed the dining area, kitchen, and family living space. In the southwest corner, we designed the master bedroom for the elderly couple of the family, which adjoins the front garden of the house.
