A client came to me, wanting a publishing logo. He wanted to key in on the word "BUZZ", but not to do something silly, like use a bee, but to come up with something creative that merged the word "BUZZ", with his initial concept, to show a publishing company, AND how "BUZZ WORDS" work. It was a shear joy to work with this client, and for him to give me full creative direction while designing.

As usual, everything starts with "Rough Thumbnail" sketches.

The chosen logo, black and white for print, and also one other option using a splash of color to emphasize the whole "Buzz Word" theme. After discussing with the client how close we were to what he wanted, he told me that the word "BUZZ" was what he truly wanted from the logo. So I went back to the drawing board, and with the logo shown below...we hit paydirt!!! He told me he absolutely loved it!!! Nothing better than hearing that from a client with a new idea shown to them.
