Many suburbs in Brisbane have been affected by noise pollution from low flying aircrafts due to a second runway being built at the Brisbane airport. Brisbane Flight Path Community Alliance (BFPCA) is an organisation set up to help residents in affected areas.

BFPCA asked us to propose a way of educating people about the problem and bringing the community together so they could make an impactful change. For the design intensive week at QUT, our team proposed an idea of having residents in affected areas write their story on a flyer and make it into a paper plane. These planes would be collected then altogether dropped over the Gallery of Modern Art.

This way people would be intrigued and read the stories and therefore have a better understanding of the problem. The flyers would have a QR code linking to BFPCA's website for more information.
