One of the biggest challenges a designer often has to overcome is the habit of pursuing only the first idea that comes to mind when beginning a new project. While some designers will defend their first solution as the best solution, this scenario is only plausible after an extensive amount years working in the design field. This project was based on the idea that people are not born creative, but were trained to think and act creatively.
Throughout the fall semester, the class researched a specific object they had chosen lying around their home. In correlation to this research, we discovered what isotopes were and their function in our world. After replicating our object 200 or so different ways, the class thought it would be humorous to write a movie synopsis on our icon, as well as to design a movie poster for this hypothetical movie. This movie poster is for a retro-thriller film about a 50's homicidal housewife suffering from dissociative identity disorder. Also, this humorously relates to the identity issues a spray bottle might have if conveyed as a living thing--lysol, windex, or 409?
