17th ASEAN Youth Day Meeting // 2011
- Design of logo and collaterals for the 17th ASEAN Youth Day Meeting (AYDM)Client: National Youth CouncilYear: 2011
Theme: Leading and Linking CommunitiesThe main graphic element in this logo are the ten stalks of young paddy shoots which have been re-interpreted from the ASEAN logo.
While they continue to represent the ten ASEAN member states, the paddy stalks are now more visibly bound together by a string. This symbolizes the close-knit community of ASEAN, and the interaction between people from various walks of life during the AYDM.
The upward brush stroke that binds the stalks together symbolises leadership as a unifying force.
A vibrant colour palette is used to represent the youths and the young-at-heart.
The grayscale version of the logo can be used in various collaterals where colour is not required.
