Tales of tradition is a series that aims to visually communicate the unique journeys of six Indian homegrown brands through product styling.
Through this series, I aim to showcase the unique aspects and journey of these brands and highlighting the uniqueness, craft, culture, essence, and history behind the products.
Longpi pottery is a unique form of art handcrafted by artisans from Longpi Kajui and Longpi Khullen in the Ukhrul district of Manipur. The longpi collection at Ikai Asai seeks to reclaim the tokenisation of handcrafted souvenirs and reestablish them as functional objects for the modern home.
