This is the first project I made all by myself....

First, I created loop cuts to cut them into 26 pieces (there is no center piece in Rubik's cube), then seperated them by selection and then insert faces to seperated boundary and colour piece.

Then I took the colour pieces(like white, green, orange) and made them the child of the single boundary piece attached to them

The animation is done by rotating and scaling the layers with or without boundary also by rotating the whole cube throughout.

The pieces cube flying in the background are made by using geometry node on a plane and a
1x1x1 Rubik's cube.
