I was engaged by Blocworx to conceptualize and craft the User Interface (UI) of their native app. The foremost requirement was to establish a design that embodied user-friendliness and intuitiveness. Blocworx operates as a no-code platform, empowering users to construct intricate software solutions without any significant background in software development.

Since current customers were already comfortable with the software and its existing interface (shown above), it was important for the new mobile app design to reflect this familiarity. My task was to strike a balance – keeping the essence of the original design while making necessary improvements for mobile devices. I also considered common user behaviors on mobile to ensure a smooth and familiar experience.

The resulting design allows for the complexities of the software to be experienced through a user-friendly mobile experience. The app design has allowed Blocworx to engage with an increasing number of customers and has reduced the number of customer support tickets raised in relation to software functionality.
