Initially, this temple was founded as a villa of the Fuji wara family, then it was transformed into a temple. Famous for the Phoenix Pavilion, dedicated to the Buddha Amida, which was built in 1053 on an island in the mid dle of a pond. In 1052 the complex became a Buddhist temple.

Materials used: foam board, thick paper, foam board, corrugated cardboard, toothpicks, sushi sticks, skewers dyed white dried flowers, perlite, various beads.
