Del Pilar's Incarnate

A young individual who sees the injustices in the world discovers the immense patriotism inside him ablaze, awakens three heroic aspects of himself - Aspects powerful enough to conjure the mythic spellbinding power of Marcelo H. Del Pilar himself.
Each character has a unique design motif gathered from experiences I had through my time at my High School.
MARSHALL DELFIN
A dystopian society where people of lower class are treated poorly by foreign invaders woke up Marshall's patriotism and pushed him to learn the nitty gritty of law and writing.
Design-wise, I wanted to put an insignia that could represent a broad concept about Del Pilar, the PLUMA. In a way the insignia visually illustrates the Pluma as a sword, a shield, and a key, all alluding to the three aspects of Marshall. I also wanted the dystopian identity to be prevalent, thus the bionic arm a la Nebula from the MCU.
Once Marshall awakens the heroic aspects of his identity, these aspects manifest through his human form. Transfiguration, as Agatha Harkness would say.
DIWA, DANGAL, at DUNONG
"Diwa, Dangal, Dunong" is my Alma Mater's mantra, and it would be a shame if I did not put these characteristics in good use.
DUNONG
The first aspect Marshall unlocks is Dunong, the Wisdom sprite, and the Journalist aspect of Del Pilar.
For Dunong, I want to depict comfort and wander, thus the root like pattens in the design. The Pluma cigil lies in his forehead, the mind that thinks.
If Marshall's MCU inspo was Nebula, then Dunong's inspiration came from Thena in Eternals.
Every incarnate owns a cigil, Dunong's cigil is the pen.
DANGAL
The second aspect Marshall unlocks is Dangal, the Reputation sprite, and the Lawyer aspect of Del Pilar.
For Dunong, I want to depict guilt and questioning, I wanted a pose that shows weight, weighing in on the choices he makes. The Pluma insignia drapes from his hands, the hand that weighs.
I took inspiration from Encantadia's Kambal Diwa of the fifth gem and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange.
Every incarnate owns a cigil, Dunong's cigil is the Libra.
DANGAL
The last aspect Marshall unlocks is Diwa, the Consciousness and the Hero in Del Pilar personified.
I went rouge with Diwa's design, as the entity that ties the four together, Diwa should feel mystical and spirit-like. The Pluma insignia lies in his chest. The root of all good.
Every incarnate owns a cigil, Dunong's cigil is the Spirit.

I took inspiration from Wanda Maximoff and Carol Danvers.
