This alphabet book meant for pre-school readers and their parents takes readers along the journey of a young witch as she learns the letters through mythological beasts her grandfather has drawn.
This project was a concept for class to make an alphabet book creatively using the letters as part of the theme. I chose to base my book on the styles of a illuminated manuscript as found in medieval texts, and base my creature depictions on how they're shown in the manuscripts as well. The gold color is meant to be printed with a shiny gold to further push the comparison home and make the books fun to view.
