Editorial & Publications
I began my professional career by volunteering for a local magazine in my village, and it was there that I first realised my passion for design, particularly in the realm of editorial design: My initial steps in the field involved delving into the intricacies of printing processes, tints and Pantones, grids, character and paragraph styles and more.
Joining the United Nations in 2016 I had the opportunity to participate in the design of different editorial projects such as the Annual Report, Strategic Plan, the Plan & Budget; support materials for Gender Trainings, and designing the style and graphic guidelines for the OCHA Graphics Stylebook.
Over the course of my career, I have actively participated in numerous editorial projects, utilizing a wide array of software tools such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and more.

Hurricane Irma and Maria: One year on - UNDP
I worked as the sole designer in this editorial project where I crafted a report commemorating the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Irma and Maria. This report aimed to spotlight the UNDP's recovery initiatives in the Caribbean region.

People's Strategy - United Nations OCHA
I worked as the lead designer in the OCHA People's Strategy, a document ideated to foster a work culture where all staff could contribute to OCHA's mandate and fulfill their full potential. I created the layout structure, ideated the look and feel and defined the style, as well as designed custom iconography.

I collaborated as a designer on the 2017's OCHA Annual Report alongside Javier Cueto, under the supervision of Akiko Haryama. In this role, I assumed responsibility for shaping the report's overarching structure, creating infographics and maps, and contributing to the overall stylistic direction within a team-based environment.
